Susan is a 5 Round Champ!  She rested better than ever last night due to the mix of  "cocktails" she imbibed in (of the medicinal nature)!  She just started the drug protocols that will help to eliminate the water weight gain and will hopefully be discharged late afternoon or early evening today.  No appetite, but the legs are strong for walking!

Fantastic-GREAT news. What resilience...not that this is something she should be getting use to ...but what a CHAMP. Give her our love and hugs! Adriane and the boys

Susan:

I have heard of your incredible journey for years through your sister - my friend and neighbor. When I ask, "How's Susan?," the answer is never an easy one and full of complicated medical jargon, all of which is easy for you to understand, I'm sure!

Your resilience and determination to keep on fighting for your kids is an inspiration to all mothers. Your perseverance seems to know no bounds!! I wish you all the best in this clinical trial and know you'll keep on fighting. Please know that so many people in Adriane's world know of your story and are sending you positive thoughts and well wishes.

Susan, thank you for your fight! I had melanoma removed from my lower right leg in 2006 and thankfully have been cancer free since. If it weren't for hero's like you, people like myself would not have as bright a future.

I was fortunate enough to have a dear friend suggest having my mole checked, as she had been diagnosed just 6 months prior. Unfortunately we lost her to melanoma in March 2007.

Continue your fight and know that there are other survivors praying and supporting your fight!!

Susan-as we've read your posts, you are truly out of this world; as a family who's mom has stage 4 ovarian, it too has reared it's ugly head. Thanks for being a beacon of strength, even to me and my family in the battle! Our thoughts, prayers are with you.
